This heatshield was specifically designed to fit the Davinci iQ and protect your hands from the intense heat generated by device the during an extended session.
The shield features a unique internal design to securely hold the device while still offering plenty of airflow for the device's heat to safely dissipate. Passthrough buttons and cutouts for charger and LED screen permit full operation of device without the necessity to remove heatshield from unit.
(NOTE - flexible rubber is an difficult material to 3D-print currently, please notify us if your heatshield is not a perfect fit)

Great heat shield
This thing is a must for long sessions keeps my hand cool they had some issues getting the fit at first but kept me updated the whole time about it. They having amazing customer service and I definitely recommened it

I can hold the IQ now
The sleeve works great, it has improved my sessions. My only regret was not buying this sooner. Holding the IQ w/o this sleeve is impossible. I got the black color and it looks clean af.

Exactly what I needed
I had been searching for a sleeve of some type since purchasing the Davinci. It can become very hot. The sleeve does the job. It could potentially be a bit more snug on first use, to make sure the buttons stay in place and prevent slippage. But very pleased.

This thing is great keeping the heat away from your hand. The only prob with that is I get used to the thing being cool. Then I don't look and touch it wrong. It's not any hotter than it used to be it's just a shock to touch it now. I would have liked if it was a bit tighter. It slides around too much for my taste.

Cool back to back sessions
My heat shield arrived with 6 days of ordering it. The feel is very nice. Softer than I imagined with a nice texture to help grip. I ordered the lava orange so it’s easier to not lose in my couch. Before using smart path 3 or 4 I couldn’t do more than 3 sessions before the IQ became too hot. With this we did 6 sessions and it was cool the entire time
