Make extended sessions with your Limelight Frolic more comfortable with a flexible heatshield while adding an extra layer of everyday protection.
The heatshield is 3D printed from flexible TPU with a thick, double-wall construction. An air gap between the inner and outer walls helps reduce direct thermal conduction, allowing the exterior to remain more comfortable to handle for longer as the Frolic heats up during use.
- Double-Wall Insulated Design: Thick inner and outer walls are separated by an air gap to help slow heat transfer to your hand.
- Textured Grip Patch: An oblong textured section along one side provides extra grip and dexterity while handling the device.

Choose Your Control Style
Recessed Controls
The temperature up and down buttons are accessed through openings in the heatshield. This positions the controls below the surrounding surface, making them harder to press accidentally during handling or storage.
Easy-Press Controls
Flexible compliant-mechanism buttons are built directly into the heatshield over the Frolic's temperature controls. These integrated buttons make intentional temperature adjustments especially easy while the heatshield is installed.
Both versions use the same open cutout around the Frolic's main trigger button and LED status light.
Installation
Slide the Limelight Frolic into the heatshield until fully seated. The flexible TPU construction provides a secure friction fit without additional fasteners.
Removal
Because the heatshield is designed for a secure friction fit, removal takes a little more effort than installation.
- Grip the sides of the heatshield firmly.
- Using the thumb of your other hand, slowly push upward on the bottom-center of the heatshield.
- The Frolic should rise approximately 1/4 inch from the heatshield.
- Grip the exposed top of the vaporizer and gently pull it the rest of the way out.
