Newest version is indeed better!
The original version had too steep an angle/taper so when used with water/slippery cleaning solution, it didn't always stay in. This new version with a shallower taper works great! Great help for keeping glass pieces clean. Hot water + prowdered brewery wash + Ratchett tapered plug to keep water in = clean glass
